None of this is to knock any particular pressing, just saying they all vary. WYWH I mostly listen to my reissue, but mainly because my original copy isn't in the greatest shape, so it's tough for me to even do a comparison - so no opinion there, really, other than I at least have no complaints w/ the reissue But I prefer a MFSL Original Master from Japan (not sure of the year, sometime in the 80s I believe) pressing to all of them (contentious issue, but they all sound great). I also think my first issue Harvest sounds amazing. I have a LOT of different copies of DSotM. I got the 25th anniversary blue Division Bell, and it's honestly one of the best sounding albums in my entire collection (which includes many audiophile grade, including MoFi one-steps). Went back to do the same as I did with Animals, but still preferred the new reissue of The Wall, in terms of mastering and sound quality. The Wall, I instantly preferred the new one. It simply blew away the reissue and I wont go back to the new one now. Began only listening to that one, before finally deciding to RCM clean my first issue and give it a listen. For instance, Animals I got the new one, and was really happy with it. I've got varying copies of all of them, and my preferences really range - sometimes the new ones sound better to me, other times they don't.
